Enterprise Sales Consultant
Vincit is a B2B Business Services and Technology company that specializes in software development and design related services. We market our services to US based businesses across multiple industries, but lean most heavily into Retail/Brand, Media or Manufacturing clients $50-$500M revenue. What we sell includes (but is not limited to): Mobile Apps, Tailored Web Applications, eComm Platforms, Staff Augmentation, and more.
As a seasoned Sales Consultant, your primary focus will be on cultivating and nurturing new business partnerships across targeted market segments. Using your consultative prowess you will be able to confidently meet with prospects and evaluate their company's pain points to discuss solutions to help. This is not a sales role with a script to follow and requires a certain level of technical understanding.
You'll play a crucial role in guiding the entire sales process, addressing the task of identifying and nurturing leads all the way to successful deals. Your passion for fostering enduring client relationships and consistently delivering value will be the key to success. In this role, you'll work closely with diverse teams, engaging with professionals spanning marketers, executives, software developers, and UX/UI designers.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Identify, prospect, and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals
- Start meaningful conversations with prospective clients to gain insight into their specific software development needs and challenges
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships within your client acquisition endeavors
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend the most suitable custom software solutions and services, showcasing Vincit's capabilities and value proposition
- Identify and create the business scope of a project alongside our Talent & Delivery team providing estimations.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to effectively engage, nurture, and close new client opportunities
- Leverage your industry knowledge and expertise to craft and customize compelling pitches and proposals to address the specific needs of each prospect
- Maintain a dynamic sales pipeline, tracking and reporting on the progress of prospective client engagements, sales activities, conversions, and revenue projections
- Utilize CRM tools and sales resources to streamline your prospecting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the development, design, and account management teams, to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetups to expand your professional network
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to better position our services and maintain a competitive advantage
What are the Need-to-Have Qualifications?
- Minimum 4 years of B2B enterprise sales/business development experience with a proven track record in client acquisition and achieving sales quotas
- Deep understanding of custom software development solutions and their application across diverse business needs
- Exceptional sales strategy, negotiation skills, and the ability to articulate the value of custom development services
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools for efficient client acquisition efforts
- Adept at building and maintaining enduring relationships with prospective clients, partners, and team members
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and dedicated to meeting and surpassing targets
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events (10-15%)
What are the Nice-to-Have Qualifications?
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstration of a successful track record in a custom software development agency or consulting environment
- An existing network within relevant industries and market segments such as Retail, Brands and Manufacturing
